Stories & Songs with Fr. Timothy of the Hillbilly Thomists
Fr. Timothy is part of the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph. He was born and raised in Steubenville, OH from a family of four children. He graduated from Franciscan University before entering the Order of Preachers. A group of the friars played music together for fun and then to raise funds for their work, they released their debut album The Hillbilly Thomists in 2017. To their surprise their self-titled album reached #3 on the Billboard bluegrass chart. The friars in the band continue to work in their apostolates and every couple years or so gather to record another album. Last summer our founders saw them in concert in St. Augustine on their Marigold tour. The Stadelmans reconnected with Fr. Timothy from college and he has been so gracious to come give us a concert during a brief visit to Florida. He is currently serving at the Aquinas House at Dartmouth College in NH.
This is a unique opportunity to hear Fr. Timothy play, sing, and tell stories that will surely uplift you and the whole family. This event is for all ages! Light snacks will be served. Please share with friends, family, neighbors and anyone who appreciates good music.
